Apiax's embedded, machine-readable compliance rules become part of the Behavox Unified Controls Platform, giving Apiax customers access to a larger, well-capitalized platform built for surveillance, archiving, and controls at global scale.

Apiax, the Zurich-based Embedded Compliance provider for the financial services industry, today announced that it has joined Behavox, the AI-native controls platform for global banks, asset managers, hedge funds, and commodity firms. Apiax's rules engine, which turns complex regulation into instant, actionable answers inside firms' own systems, becomes part of Behavox's end-to-end controls platform.

Behavox's platform runs from regulatory intelligence through interpretation and controls to monitoring and evidence. Apiax adds the interpretation layer, turning regulation into rules applied at the point of business, and Behavox carries those answers downstream into surveillance and the regulatory archive, all on one platform with one evidence trail. The move continues Behavox's push to embed itself across the controls framework and be the one-stop shop for compliance solutions, and gives Apiax's technology far greater reach than standalone rules libraries and regulatory-intelligence tools.

"Apiax was built to embed compliance where the work happens, and the Behavox ecosystem is the best place to take that to far more institutions. Being part of a platform that runs from regulatory intelligence through to monitoring means our customers get more from everything we have built." - Philip Schoch, Co-Founder Apiax

The acquisition continues Behavox's momentum in Europe. It follows the opening of the Milan office in August 2026, 213% growth in European annual recurring revenue over the past two years, and the $175 million preferred equity investment from HPS Investment Partners (part of BlackRock) in June 2026. Apiax, headquartered in Zurich, adds further European engineering and regulatory expertise.

"Our strategy is relentless: to build the most vertically integrated controls platform in the market, from regulatory intelligence through to monitoring and evidence. Apiax adds the interpretation layer that turns regulation into action at the point of business." - Kiryl Trembovolski, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer, Behavox

Nothing changes for Apiax customers. They keep the product and the team they rely on today, now backed by the scale, R&D investment, and global customer success organization of Behavox, with a path toward a unified controls platform rather than a standalone point solution.

"Our customers want to consolidate vendors without giving up best-in-class technology, and this is us going where they are asking us to go. Apiax adds one more piece to the compliance stack, unified on a platform they already trust." - Nabeel Ebrahim, Chief Revenue Officer, Behavox
